Bittrex Turns Six!

It all began six years ago when three security engineers shared the announcement of a new U.S. based cryptocurrency exchange on a bitcoin discussion forum. They had a vision to provide a safe, secure and reliable platform that people could trust — a platform that set the standards in a world of chaos and uncertainty. They certainly delivered on their promise.

Bittrex has grown to become one of the leading digital asset trading platforms which helps power other exchanges around the world. On March 9, we’ll be sharing additional improvements and news that we know you will love, so stay tuned!

Here’s some of the highlights from the past year:

• Launched a new Mobile App on iOS and Android, making it easier than ever to trade on the go.
• Announced improvements to the trading UI featuring Tradingview.
• Secured $300 million in Digital Asset Insurance to enhance protection.
• Announced 8 new states for U.S. dollar fiat trading for corporate and individual investors with 26 fiat markets. Fiat trading is now available in 44 states and Puerto Rico.
• An expanding and constantly evolving partner network. Bittrex has assisted the launch of cryptocurrency trading platforms in Liechtenstein, Hong Kong, Macau, Uruguay, South Africa, Chile, the United Kingdom, Estonia, Vietnam, Mongolia, Singapore, Bahrain, and Canada — all powered by Bittrex technology.
• Significant updates to our world class trading engine that powers Bittrex, Bittrex Global and our partner exchanges around the world to increase speed and scale, among other improvements.
• Partnered with Chainalysis to adopt real-time transaction monitoring to ensure compliance standards.
• Announced a partnership with IdentityMind to implement an AML compliance program to prevent, detect & remediate suspicious behavior.
• Acquisition of Tradedash, a trading tool that offers real-time data from support trading platforms.
• Became a founding member of Crypto Council.
• Continued to invest considerable resources to improve our customer support team’s capabilities, including 24/7 live chat support.
