New token listing: BLTV Token

We are pleased to announce the newest token listing on Bittrex Global: BLTV, an ERC-20 Token from BLOCKTV, the premier news channel for the blockchain industry and cryptocurrency markets. We plan to list the token for trading at 7am CET/3pm Korean time.

BLTV, an ERC-20 token operating on the Ethereum Blockchain, aims to power a new token economy combining journalist and sources, consumers and advertisers.

The BLTV token’s primary use is to incentivise sources to share their information with publishers, via the BLTV Newsroom. The publisher then verifies the content, packages it and publishes it. After publication, the story is tracked and the ad revenue it generates is shared with the source based on staking and reputation.

The BLTV token also enables the operation of an innovative business model for funding quality journalism by removing much of the uncertainty when it comes to user interaction with content and ads.

Eye Prove Technology is an in-house developed proof of engagement mechanism that delivers instant tracking and remuneration for users that scan ads that appear on BLOCKTV’s player.

Viewers can then use the tokens they’ve earned in the Engagement Center, a user interface that allows them to leave comments, vote on content, nominate and rank features and segments that will impact certain elements of BLOCKTV’s broadcast coverage.
