On Launching Biya
It’s the start of a new year. Year 2018! “Big things popping” right? And here goes our quite revolutionary entry…
Introduction
We’ve always been working on solutions to better our world but sometime in 2016, borne on the premise to drive financial inclusion with ease of service and less limitations. we looked into the future and leveraged artificial intelligence to build Biyabot.
We presented our bot at the Nigerian Interbank Settlement Systems(NIBSS) Ennovation challenge in July 2017 and our product got awarded “Top innovative solutions to enhance e-payments”. After several months of iterating and pilot-tests to deliver a perfect product for you, we have launched Biya.
So what does Biya do?
Biya is a utility that allows you make payments seamlessly over a conversational interface. You can buy airtime, pay utility bills, subscribe to internet, TV etc. and transfer money simply via chat.
Interacting with Biya is just as easy as chatting with a dear friend who is available 24/7 and gets your financial transactions done swiftly for FREE(Yes, you read that right). Biya bypasses charges imposed on USSD transaction service so it is in fact cost effective.
Chatting today is as basic as it could be, so as long as you have got the capability to text “Hi”, Biya’s got you covered. It also offers timely subscription notifications so you need not worry about Grandma keeping track of the last time you paid for DSTV. Biya will fix it.

Biya can be easily accessed on chat channels Facebook Messenger, Skype, Telegram and Slack. It is also available on web: native browsers or app dedicated browsers (e.g. Twitter) so it does not require you to download any additional app. Biya is SAFE and SECURE to use and protects privacy information shared with it. So there you have it, an on-the-go payment service at your pleasure.
