Subject Matter Matters in Language Learning

Picking a good subject matter helps you become fluent in English, and any other language.

For example, if you practice talking about the current POTUS (President of the United States) Donald Trump, you will have impassioned conversations with your American friends.

If you pick phrases from a popular TV series like The Walking Dead, then you can have lots to talk about for many seasons.

If you pick a hobby close to your heart, you will have more than enough motivation to practice every day.

What I don’t suggest is spending the majority of your study time on grammar books. Grammar is important for sure. It can be fun if you like it. Most people don’t like it and give up before achieving fluency.
