Helium Health Care cofounder, Dimeji Sofowora will speak as Skype Mentor at this month’s Startup Sunday Meetup scheduled for this Sunday, October 15th, 2017, at the conference room of The Elkan Terrace in Port Harcourt.
Helium Health is a Y Combinator backed healthcare startup that seeks to minimize the challenges paper-based health care currently faces.

Previous mentors include two YCombinator backed founders; Shola Akinlade CEO of PayStack and Kendall Anayi CEO of Tezeti, as well as Hotels.ng CEO, Mark Essien and Ventures Platform’s Fola Olatunji David who spoke at the September meetup.

The mentoring session will be preceded by a pitching session where Paul Omu would pitch EduXtra — an online educational platform that enables teachers earn an extra income.
Other events include video viewing and discussions, an elevator pitch challenge and networking.
Startup Sunday is a monthly meet up where modern day founders, talent and investors, connect to build the unicorns of the future.

It is organised by Netopps, an organisation focused on building people and systems in Africa to leverage internet opportunities to optimize potentials in digital jobs, tech entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship. Admission is N3,000, paid at the venue.

Startup Sunday debuted on July 12, 2015 with a 20 week viewing of ‘How to Start a Startup’, a series of 20 lectures originally given at the Stanford University by Y Combinator in the fall of 2014. Startup Sunday currently holds on the 3rd Sunday of every month. This month’s meetup would be its 40th edition.
