Have AtBot search Twitter and report back a list of the top ten tweets for that search term. This is handy for keeping track of certain hashtags and seeing what’s going on in the many Twitter realms, all done right in Teams.
Note: some screenshots reference AtBot’s old name, Bizzy. Functionality is identical.
Creating the Skill
1. Log in to office.com with your user name and password and add AtBot to Teams if you haven’t already.
2. Browse to the AtBot template for ‘search twitter’.
3. Log in to Twitter at the bottom of the screen then click ‘Continue’.
4. On the Power Automate editor screen, simply click Save flow.
There’s nothing you need to change to make the Skill work. See below for an overview of the steps.
Test it out
Jump into MS Teams and start a private chat with AtBot. Tell him “search twitter” to test out the new Skill. (Or say “help” and he’ll tell you the keywords you can use to kick off each of his Skills.)
Why use AtBot to get this info?
Hey, why not? It’s a quick way to get the pulse on a conference, announcement, news item, person, company, etc. right in Teams. And, if it is a part of conversations with others, all Team members will see the list and it keeps a record of it for later (which is useful if you need a snapshot in time, considering how dynamic Twitter is). All you’ve got to do is ask AtBot for the information and he’ll send it back to you.
