High School Days Challenge (Including College Because I Live in England)
I hope my school years do not sound too sad and lonely
When Kerry Purvis tagged me in her response to this challenge, I wondered whether I could take part.
That’s because the school system here in England is different from the United States. However, by including my college years (age 16–18), I managed to come up with the following answers.
Some are very short, and some are more detailed!
1. What is the year you graduated?
High school: 1984 (just before my 16th birthday)
College: 1986 (just before my 18th birthday)
2. Did you carpool?
I walked to high school and took the train to college.
Here in England you have to be 17 to drive, and high school finishes at age 16. Still, I did get a few lifts each week when my sister and brother-in-law did part-time college courses.
