High School Days Writing Prompt
A trip down memory lane
OK, so I have to do the high school days writing prompt, inspired by reading J.S. Phillips, and Brandon Ellrich’s answers. I wasn’t too keen on doing it until I read each of their submissions.
High school wasn’t so bad for me. After being geeky and unpretty all through elementary and grade school, I finally wasn’t too bad looking in high school. I wasn’t super popular like the pretty cheerleaders, but wasn’t unpopular either.
I was the one who was friends with everybody. Everyone knew my name even if I didn’t know their’s. So here goes…
What year did you graduate? 1982
Did you carpool? I had my own car for junior and senior year. I rode with my brother my freshman year, and rode the bus my sophomore year.
What kind of car did you have? It was a 1970 Green Dodge Dart. Boy would I love to have that car today.
Friday Night Football — were you there? I think I was at most of the games after I could drive. I don’t remember going much when I was a freshman or sophomore.
