Today we will share information about our spaceships

We will start with two (2) types of space ships: Cargo and Discovery space ships.

Each space ship will have such main characteristics as

• Type (Cargo\Discovery)
• Flight range
• Class
• Percent of damage
• Model specifications like fuel consumption, etc.

Cargo spaceships

These spaceships are intended to transport mining resources between planets particularly, from planet to the marketplace. Currently, the only marketplace is on Iris. The owner of the cargo spaceship will be able to stake it to “Lease for freight.” When planet resources will be mined, there will be a transportation fee applied to all planets, except those where the planet owner will have owned cargo ships. That fee will be distributed among all spaceships that are leased for freight. To stake a spaceship, you will need to pay for fuel. The spaceship will execute transportation services for a specific amount of time, while it has fuel. Then the owner will need to unstake, repair if needed, and stake again.

The first Cargo space ship model we will introduce will be

Model Hermes, Frigate Class, flight-range 20 parsecs

Discovery spaceships

Discovery spaceships have specific equipment to travel and discover new star systems. You can send your spaceship to undiscovered stars that are within its flight range. To get bigger numbers of stars, you have to travel to other planets away from your planet. You can send a spaceship to those discovered planets with space stations built. That will allow fuel spaceship and get available flight range from that place.

The first model of discovery spaceships that will be available.

Model Voyager, Cruiser Class, flight-range 30 parsecs

To send a spaceship to a discovery mission, you will need to select the destination, pay for fuel, and stake ship. Length of staking and fuel price will depend on flight length. Discovery spaceships also will have a damage percent that will increase after each flight. At some point, you will need to fly to the planet with a repair dock (so far Iris only) and repair your spaceship.
