This update is for any interested readers, or writers, who have been curious about the status of the Black Like Me (BLM) publication.

I originally had extremely high hopes for this publication, and I started off with a bang (if only in my own head).

Unfortunately, I was just learning to navigate the Medium website, and was new to operating a publication.

I encountered a lot of setbacks — both real and imagined, and I eventually stopped accepting submissions at the time, then, gradually neglected the project.

Now, I’m more knowledgeable about running a publication. With my writer showcase style Daily Justiss publication, I routinely publish at least one story a day. I’ve got the hang of things now, so you can look forward to some great stories on BLM, over the upcoming year.
