Democrats’ Violent Rhetoric: A Ticking Time Bomb

Who’s next after Brett Kavanaugh?

Nicholas John Roske was charged on June 8 with the attempted murder of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. You’ve barely heard about the incident, the media showing little interest in what could happen to one of their common foes. Roske was arrested after he called 9–1–1 while he was near Justice Kavanaugh’s Maryland home. He told the police that he was suicidal and that he intended to kill the conservative magistrate, according to a federal criminal complaint.

The man was well equipped for his operation as he was armed with a Glock 17 handgun, a knife, a hammer, a screwdriver and a crowbar, among other things. His motive: “He was angry at Kavanaugh about the leaked draft of a Supreme Court opinion that would overturn constitutional protections for abortion rights, as well as a recent school shooting massacre in Uvalde, Texas”, according to The Independent.

A Hateful, Violent Rhetoric That Might Lead to a Tragedy

“I want to tell you, Gorsuch, I want to tell you, Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

Those are the words that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer spat out in March 2020, more than two years before the leak of the Supreme Court document. Schumer had set about to openly threaten justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh because he feared they would knock down the constitutional right to an abortion. It is no coincidence that the Democrat senator hasn’t said a word about the Kavanaugh case, no doubt preferring to keep a low profile given the circumstances.

But the Senate Majority Leader is not the only one to hold a threatening speech toward the Supreme Court Justices. On May 6, the speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, invited the Americans to actively pressure the magistrates of the highest court to tip the balance in favor of abortion.

At the same time, at least one far-left group was publishing the private addresses of justices’ homes, which led to protests organized in front of the said homes. Protests that former White House press secretary Jen Psaki had refused to condemn. The same Psaki had downplayed the campaign of harassment against the Supreme Court Justices and even stirred up the crowd, claiming about those protests that they had “been peaceful to date”, adding: “We certainly continue to encourage that outside of judges’ homes.”

This position was validated on May 11 by none other than New York State Senator Chuck Schumer who had responded positively when asked if he was comfortable with these protests.

An Obscure Organization

We don’t know yet if Nicholas John Roske was motivated by the Democrats’ rhetoric, but what we know is that he may have been inspired by a shady left-wing organization, Ruth Sent Us.

Ruth Sent Us was the one that published the addresses of the Republican-nominated Supreme Court justices’ homes on the Web, a move that has never been denounced by the Democrats and their media allies.

The extremist organization downplayed the threat against Justice Brett Kavanaugh and his family the day Nicholas John Roske was put into custody. “We are committed to non-violence. Fundamentalists will talk non-stop about how our peaceful protests inspired this, rather than the daily mass murders in America”, Ruth Sent Us tweeted on June 8. According to The Federalist, “when news of the arrest near Kavanaugh’s home was reported, the website for Ruth Sent Us became mysteriously inaccessible”.

As for President Biden, instead of calming down the Democratic masses, he “warned of the potential for a ʻmini-revolutionʼ in November’s midterm elections should the Supreme Court decide to overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling”, as Rebel News reported.

One can imagine if a Republican had pushed the same rhetoric, or if Donald Trump had spoken of a “mini-revolution”. We would certainly witness major unrest in Democratic cities, and the mainstream media would call for the arrest of the main actors.

That reminds us of the “summer of destruction”, in 2020, when Black Lives Matter and Antifa groups staged violent protests across the United States after the murder of George Floyd. No one can forget what Nancy Pelosi had said about those protests: “People will do what they do.”
