Black female entrepreneurs are working harder than ever. A 2018 report titled “State of Women-owned businesses” highlighted that black women own more than two million businesses in the United States. Global and national statistics indicate that black women are leading when it comes to building businesses and they are five times more likely to launch a new business than any other female demographic.
