Puma x NATUREL
Fresh off of dropping a dope collection with Puma, Lawrence Atoigue aka Naturel is dropping an exclusive shoe, also a puma collab, on his website allburgundy.com. For those that don’t know, Naturel is an artist in every sense (and almost every facet) of the word. He’s a rapper, artist, and designer. Before his collabs with Puma, he’s worked with Mountain Dew, designed cover art for many music projects, and he even illustrated a skateboard park in DC. I found his work around 2014 on instagram, back when he would do these cool pieces inspired by heavy-hitters in the music industry like Pac, Biggie, Puff, Kendrick, Kanye…the list goes on, and I’ve been a fan ever since. Definitely check out his work when you get a chance.
The Moon Maison Mids have a very clean design, I like how the eyelets are hidden. There are only 150 pairs and they are selling for $150. The original concept sketches of the shoe are also printed on the insole, which is a nice touch.
Overall, this is a clean shoe at a pretty good price point considering they are limited editions. What do you think of this collab? Let me know!
