#WKW Women’s Nike SB Bruin Hi
The Nike SB Bruin Hi is the first Nike skate shoe designed specifically for women. AND IT’S ABOUT TIME! As women, we just kinda deal with the hot releases not quite fitting just right or whatever because we really want and love the shoe. And this is cool if you’re just wearing your kix casually. But when it comes to performance, women, too, also need footwear that is going to fit well. So good looking out to the SB unit for finally listening to the female skaters out there making their voices heard about their footwear. Ladies like Lacey Baker, Leticia Bufoni, Sarah Meurle, Josie Millard and countless others, we salute you for making your voices heard!
The Women’s Nike SB Bruin Hi is a good looking shoe. I would actually like to try one on. One of the gripes women skaters had with modifying the guy skate shoes is lack of a snug fit, so maybe I’ll try on a pair to compare the fit between the guy sb’s. The price is a GO, $85 is a very decent price point.
Nike (and all the other major brands), let’s keep this going. Let’s make shoes tailored for women performing in the sports we participate in (which is all of them). Buying a GS sized shoe doesn’t necessarily mean it’s suitable for performance for women.
