Just in time for July Fourth weekend, Blackbird Air is excited to announce the availability of even more affordable and accessible ways to fly.

Starting today, travel is a no-brainer with our new Hitch flight option. It’s the carpool of the skies, matching licensed pilots with people headed in the same direction. This allows all parties to split the flight cost, from fuel to rental fees, guaranteeing everyone a fair rate. Flights matched in Hitch are our lowest cost option ever — and soon, your go-to way to travel this summer.

We’re also launching a new Charter option, so anyone with the travel bug can fly in a personal plane for just $10 a mile, reducing the typical retail price by as much as 50 percent.

Passengers can now arrange Charter and Hitch flights instantly through the Blackbird Air app, available for download from the Google Play Store and App Store.
