Dear established readers (and new comers too!),
As always since quite a while now, we have prepared our fintech/insurtech weekly deals’ analysis. For those who are new to our bulletin, here you can find all EU deals in the sector that have been announced the past week.
Another busy week with a German lead and a balanced mix of UK and French deals in various areas. Sweden is surprisingly active this week in payment with two early stage deals.

Taxfix: This Berlin-based tax return mobile solution has just closed a €27m round from American serial investor Pether Thiel (who previously supported N26). Founded in 2016, the company is meant as a complement to legal statement to save money.
Zaver : This three-years old Swedish payments platforms claims to reduce fraud and enable credit financing at the point of sale in peer-to-peer transactions. It has raised more than $1.2 million in seed funding, including from Inventure and Inbox Capital.
SESAMm: This national rising company offers data analytics solutions applied to asset management. Founded in 2014, the company has just closed a €4.4 million round to expand into both Japanese and American markets.
