11 Ways To Handle Skin Purging (Acne)
Are you frustrated with the skin purging process?
If anyone knows about acne, it’s me.
Historically, we’ve been close friends, which is how I’ve learned to manage, eradicate, and mitigate acne.
Acne sucks. It’s literally one of my least favorite ailments of the skin, but hey, it’s normal, and it happens.
The best action you can take when you get acne is to pause and listen to your body. Whenever our skin breaks out, our bodies are trying to communicate with us.
Something might need to change, or it’s going through a change and will need us to practice patience while it completes the metamorphosis process.
I recently went through a six-week purge, and it f*cking sucked, but it also challenged me to become less attached to my breakouts and to still function as confidently as ever.
More importantly, though, the six-week purging taught me to practice patience and positivity and to adopt a more light-hearted approach.
Just when I thought the breakouts ceased, my skin decided to pop up another one, and what did I do? I finally started laughing and realized the purging (the work) was not yet complete, and I had the opportunity to practice the art of letting go.
