These grandmas defy the myths and show us that age is nothing but a number!
Gone are the days when granny sat in a rocking chair and sharing her butterscotch candies. No longer are grandmas wearing shawls and double-knit pants.
Now, you can find Grandma on the beach rocking a bikini or jumping out of airplanes just for laughs.
We came across a few fun and fancy grandmas that are sure to turn heads.
This lovely grandmother of three says that the secret to her youth is, “to always see the good in others and let them know what you see. In other words, give out compliments and share love to everyone.”
This grandmom of twins has been in the fitness industry for almost 30 years and it shows. He fountain of youth is actually on a pole. Yes, this 46 year-young lady teaches pole dance and aerial hoop classes to keep women looking good and feeling fantastic.
“To be honest, I think I look and feel younger than what my number says because I just do what I want,” she tells us. “I have never let age be something that defines who I am, what I do, how I feel.” We hear you, girl!
You wish your grandma could! Yes, Makeda is another grandma that finds that swinging on the pole makes her feel and look young. “At 58, I feel and look better than I did in my 20’s, 30’s and 40’s! I started training as a pole athlete and dancer when I turned 50 and it has changed the course of my life,” Makeda tells us.
Check out the heels on our girl! Keep flying, sister!
