As a scholar of the Philippines, I will pursue food security for future generations. The following are possible methods of doing so:

1. Designing and promoting efficient but ecological agricultural methodologies such as organic farming, as agriculture requires precious resources such as water, but is also a major polluter of the environment, due to deforestation and chemical wastes.

2. Designing and promoting vegetable-intensive diets for the people of the future, as only about half of the crops grown in farms are actually consumed by humans as food. The other half end up as feeds for animals, biofuels, other industrial products, or turned to waste.

Applying the lessons we learn in school is the noticeable trend above. This is the role I will play in performing the task. I will play the role of a scientist and study then apply all that I have learned to help the Filipinos and the citizens of the world achieve complete food security for generations to come.
