Extraordinary Internship Experience @Blibli.com
“Learning and Unforgettable” would be the best way to describe my internship experience at Blibli.com. In this company, I learned many new skills that I have never had before, not even at college. And yeah, at first I was feeling nervous being in situations I have never been in before, but my team (the analytics team) was always there to help me learn from scratch!
Before I share my memorable and unforgettable experience, let me share a little lucky story about how I ended up interning at Blibli.com. At first I was a little confused about internship because at that time my tasks at college were so intense. I have sent CVs to many company and still got nothing from them and then some miracle happen. The HR from Blibli.com contacted me to intern at Blibli.com. And of course I didn’t refuse that and immediately agreed, especially I was able to work on the Future Program held by Blibli.com as well.
And then 27 June 2018 is my first day internship at Blibli.com. I really feel nervous because I came too early and i don’t know where is my table lol. So i just sit behind to my friend’s table. Suddenly Pak Fritz greeted me and told me that the table i sit now is actually for me lol. Sooo lucky.
Not long after that, I was invited to a meeting and immediately discussed a fairly large project. And suddenly I was included in the project. I’m so shocked like “whattt??” lol. Because the project is too large especially for me that still internship and just joined at that day too. And at that time I didn’t understand the stack that was used. I’m so nervous. Luckily, my teammate (Timmy, another intern and my friend that live in America!!) is still internship too so i don’t feel nervous alone hahaha. And my leads also very patient to teach us.
Every day I and Timmy always learn together and share tasks for this project along with leads. And that is unforgettable! Every day is special for me. We learn together until this project is complete. The work is serious but also relaxed.
Sometimes i learn with Timmy about his work from project and Mr. Johan (Head of Analytics that so cool!). And learn with another intern (Vincent, another intern and from America tooo!!) about his work.
And i have fun too at Hackathon with my team (Thank you Mr. Johan for cheer up me to join this hackathon!) and Walkathon with another Bliblioneers (Nickname of the people that work at Blibli.com).
Then the pantry is so good that have many foods, drinks, and snacks to eat for free and got free lunch too. It’s very gooodd especially for me (anak kos lol).
Until last week, My division just had a lunch together (tentunya ditraktir) and we (me, Timmy, and Vincent) got farewell gift that so cute from my pgm (Kak Ardy). And again i feel so lucky to be there.
I won’t forget about internship experience at Blibli.com. Especially with Analytics. Thank you Pak Johan, Pak Gie, Pak Fritz, Pak Haris, Kak Ardy, Kak Welly, Kak Ivan, Kak Gabby, Kak Ulil (My Lead), Joshua, Dennis, Barry, Vincent, and Timmy for anything. Tetap semangat kedepannya terutama untuk Analytics dan semuanya!
