One key question we keep hearing: what cool things can I do with NFTs after I get them? While there are many answers to this, we see the ability to put an NFT to work and earn passive income as a compelling option. As such, today we are excited to announce a partnership with Charged Particles, an innovative project that enables users to transform their NFTs into yield earning assets.

How it works

Charged Particles layers unique DeFi interest-generating mechanisms onto the world of rare digital assets. The Charged Particles Protocol enables users to turn their NFTs into a programmable basket of other tokens — ERC-20 and even other ERC-721 (NFTs). Charged Particles has deep integrations with DeFi lending and borrowing protocols like Compound and Aave allowing users to earn interest on their tokens inside their favorite NFTs. Through this seamless integration, Charged Particles creates interest-bearing assets with a scarce NFT attached, creating an exciting new token mechanic that is truly innovative in the space.

Besides adding interest capabilities to your NFTs, users are able to program the principal amounts of deposits in their NFTs — Time Locking the amount inside for a certain period of time. Users can also fully configure the interest earned, this accumulated interest (“charge”) can be discharged to other addresses, belonging to charity, friends, or artists they want to support.

Users can shop from Charged Particle Blind Box Collections. Inside these pools will be Protons, Charged Particles’ existing interest yielding NFTs. As with all collection purchases, users also get BLES tokens when they purchase from this collection.

Charged Secondary Marketplace

Through a portal on our dApp, Blind Boxes users can dive directly into the Charged Particles ecosystem. Here they can bring new life to the NFTs they just unboxed on the Blind Boxes platform. For example, users can pool NFTs plus $BLES tokens into a charged bundle. They can hold this bundle or resell it on marketplaces.
