Free Minting on Polygon: A Boxes x Charged Particles Collab

After our initial launch on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and subsequent launch on Ethereum in June, Blind Boxes is gearing up to launch on Polygon Network.

Why Polygon?

Polygon is a layer 2 Ethereum scaling solution that enables significantly more efficient transaction processing. This protocol is attractive for those looking to evade Ethereum’s high transaction fees.

The project has a vibrant community of 100,000+ gamers and 500+ decentralized apps, including Decentraland, OpenSea, and Aavegotichi. Polygon has significant momentum and has secured an undisclosed investment from prolific investor Mark Cuban this May.

This update will allow users bring NFTs minted on Polygon to Blind Boxes and take advantage of super low fees and lightning fast transaction throughput.

Importantly, adding support for Polygon allows Blind Boxes to significantly lower the barrier of entry for NFT creators and collectors.

Charged Particles collaboration

Starting August 9th, Blind Boxes and Charged Particles will collaborate to provide creators with free NFT minting on Polygon. This promotion will run for 2 weeks.

To celebrate the launch of Blind Boxes on Polygon, Charged Particles will provide enough MATIC tokens to mint approximately 1000 NFTs to anyone from the Blind Boxes community that fills in this sign-up sheet during the first week of the event.

To be eligible users must:

  1. Join the Blind Boxes official Telegram group: https://t.me/blindboxes
  2. Follow Blind Boxes on Twitter
  3. Use the above sign up sheet
  4. Anyone who mints an NFT on Charged Particles during this two week event and posts it on Twitter with the hashtag #BoxesEnergized will be entered into an IONX giveaway as well as a chance for their NFT to be purchased by the Charged Particles Community Treasury.

Users can also transform their NFT into a yield-bearing asset by leveraging Charged Particles’ unique token mechanic. Read more about it here.

Creators, now is the best time to reap the benefits of Polygon Network and leverage our collaboration with Charged Particles.

About Charged Particles

Charged Particles allows users to “Do more with their Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs),” offering near-infinite flexibility and creativity within this growing space.

With Charged Particles, any NFT can be transformed into a basket containing other ERC-20 tokens, even other NFTs. The Principal amount can be time-locked inside the NFT, and through an integration with Aave’s aTokens, programmable yield from these DeFi yield-generating assets is just a few clicks away.
