To Gain More Is To Observe

I’ve read before that studying or reading from a book or magazine is like you trying to understand what has happened before to someone else. It is you imagining or figuring out what has happened in their past. Knowledge has been commonly passed that way for decades or generations. There’s nothing wrong with that at all. That’s how we’ve evolved for millions of years.

From a curious individual perspective, studying to gain knowledge is somehow limited. It is limited because you only get to see it from the author’s perspective and nothing else. As a curious individual, one must observe the surroundings to gain more than studying.

The skill of observation allows an individual to see more beyond the understanding of what’s stated in a book or something. Observing something allows you to experience things without initial judgment or any knowledge beforehand. It allows you to create your own from your experience. Most of the time, we get close-minded with what we’ve already learned which resulted in a somehow corrupted experience.

When you are doing your meditation, one of the things that you should do is observe. Observe your body, thoughts that your mind is producing, or how you currently react. The reason you need to observe is that it will allow you to go deep down without any interruptions. It will allow you to remove those blockages that came from our logical thinking. There are a lot of things outside the logical mind. Things we haven’t discovered yet.

May you take this perspective to observe your surroundings or anything happening in your life.

May you reach your dreams.
