What If I Could Do It?

One of the greatest conversations you will ever have were the ones you and the person in front of the mirror were saying. The conversations within are the conversations that provide the energy and power to dispatch the action.

I was tasked with a big project and they mentioned I should have it in a week. It felt like I will be short on time. But, I told to myself, what if I could do it? What if I could accomplish what they think is impossible? I knew that the timeline they set isn’t really well-handled because there were so many changes after the kick-off of the project.

I adapted.

I realized this experience is new to me here. What if I could do it?

That week was very exhausted. I didn’t have enough sleep because I had to do some extra work.

But I didn’t focus on those things. I had a list of things to do. Tick off one item at a time. Tick off.

And as I reach the end — the deadline, I was able to pull it off. They couldn’t believe what progress and accomplishment I’d made. And importantly, I couldn’t believe too! I didn’t know that I would be able to pull it off just like that!

As they said, it was unreal.

It was unreal but as soon as I reflect on it even more. I knew I can pull it off. I was just hesitant and focused on how hard it was going to be.

Self-doubt is one of the killers of our goals and dreams.

If I agree with the doubts I had, I wouldn’t be able to pull it off.

What if I could? Why not can I achieve it?
