QUDO now supports PC games
We, at Block Bastards, are proud to announce that QUDO — the newest proof-of-gameplay reward mechanism and also a token for the gaming industry — now supports PC games. Prior to this event, you could find games associated with QUDO for Android and iOS. From this day on, you will also be able to play PC games, which you will find at games.qudo.io.
Every associated PC game will be available to play, connected to the blockchain, allowing you to receive game rewards based on time playing, performance, bugs found and tokens staked.
Expanding our adherent platforms could not make us any happier! As gamers ourselves, we love to play PC games and want to give game developers all the support they need to get the deserved boost within the community, no matter the platform.
For this update to happen, there were months of hard internal work, upgrading the QUDO SDK to support PC games as well. With this upgrade, the amount of games that can benefit from QUDO features increases substantially.
There are already PC game developers involved in the QUDO project, working to bring you the first PC games supporting QUDO. At the moment, you can find Frost Blight and Beat It at games.qudo.io.
Beat It is a shooter game where you can play against 3 of your friends or try to beat the CPU in an exciting battle while keeping in mind the 3-minute clock. You can also customize your character and choose in between different weapons, each one having different abilities and strengths. When the clock runs out, whoever has more kills wins the game!
Frost Blight is a fast-paced rogue-like game where you have to defeat endless hordes of frost-bitten zombies, mysterious snow creatures, and other magical monsters. Get awesome upgrades like a backpack to store more snowballs, a scarf to increase your running ability, and a board that transitions from snow to ground!
There is still a long way to go and many more platforms we want to be compatible with. We believe this is a good foundation for a bright future.
