BCGS #1 — “One Million Announcement” (11/19/18)

On October 22nd, Block Collider achieved a major milestone, the 1 millionth block. As we continue our mission of building a best-in-class protocol for cross chain decentralized exchange we have decided to create a brief weekly update email such as this one titled “Block Collider Global State”. Over the next several months Block Collider will be woven into the global crypto narrative and these timely updates will be used to convey challenges and demonstrate performance metrics toward our mission for a world free to trade without validators, centralization, or fees. Each email is broken into three sections: Performance Metrics, Next, and The 6th Blockchain.

Performance Metrics

The ‘performance metrics’ section will be in every email and include relevant growth metrics pertinent to Block Collider & its partners.

1 million blocks is 2.36 sextillion cpu cycles from over 44,000 miners around the world contributing to a cumulative hash power of 61.3 exo-radians. That is 312% faster than Ethereum got to the same block height and exactly 1 million more blocks mined than any other multichain in existence. In other words, the competition is heating up around the world. Globally we have discovered IP addresses from 112 countries including some very academic IPs from machines out of JPL, NASA, and FermiLab. The number of blocks mined is currently at 1,312,686 and continues to climb steadily every day.

Next

The ‘next’ section will be in every email and include a short list of the most relevant upcoming events.

• Release of Borderless, (Prev. MADEX) Block Collider’s flagship decentralized exchange which launches first with Emblem Lease <> Emblem pair. Borderless is entirely P2P with no centralized order-book, validators, or relays.
• After Target: At block 1.8 million Block Collider miners worldwide will begin listening for the Automated Rover Control Block (ARC Block) which will include the summed NRG and EMBLEM balances of the previous blocks and act. Clients will need to upgrade to 0.8.5

The 6th Blockchain

Each email will include a reference to what the 6th blockchain is not.
