Blocknubie, a global ecosystem for startups in Blockchain, has entered into a new strategic partnership with FinTechJobs, to resource the growing demand for candidates in the Blockchain arena.

Blocknubie is a startup platform and marketplace that acts as a bridge between off-chain organizations, startups and the Blockchain ecosystem. The Blocknubie platform guides Blockchain startups towards setting up business quickly and effectively, complemented with a number of DApps to enhance their success, structure and speed.

Blocknubie will focus on meeting the full range of Blockchain entrepreneurial needs including democratisation of access to capital, entrepreneurship education, networking opportunities, as well as building an environment that supports investment in Blockchain startups and enterprise.

FinTechJobs was established last year by David Crowley and Gerry Gorman, with years of financial and recruitment experience respectively. The firm was set up to address the growing need to recruit technical and financial candidates in an effective manner via an online platform.

“We discovered that other online recruitment platforms could act in a rather hit and miss manner,” explains Crowley. “Positions such as CFO for a software house were receiving applications from persons without the required experience. The current online filtering software is very clunky which results in many mismatches.

“This is as frustrating for employers who have to wade through inappropriate applications as well as frustrating for applicants who end up applying for jobs for which they are not suited. No one is satisfied,” says Crowley.

FinTechJobs maximises on the deep recruitment experience of Gorman who ensures that job adverts are written in the most effective way possible to eliminate interest from unsuitable candidates and generate interest from appropriate ones. Coupled with powerful SEO on the platform, employers and candidates alike have a much better user experience, waste little time and candidates are funnelled through to the right jobs.

Loughlin Nestor, CEO of Blocknubie welcomes this partnership. “One of the biggest challenges for startups is to find the right experience to plug the gaps; be it technical or financial. This way we will be able to fast track hiring processes and match talent quickly and effectively. We welcome FinTechJobs to our ecosystem.”
