The genesis collection, and why it matters.

There’s been a lot going on lately, from the Ethereum migration to the NFT minting — I feel like I should be writing a novel.

So we sold 500 genesis NFTs at 0.02BNB each (a little over $4.60 at the time), they sold out in 11 minutes. That funding enabled us to continue the development on the game and reduce sell pressure during times of low volume — we likely wouldn’t be where we’re at without those holders.

Our little team here is very keen on making sure those original genesis holders know how much we appreciate them and their contribution — however, and it’s an honest however — there is a $27 price difference between the old NFTs and the new, and we are trying to raise additional funding for marketing.

Let’s break it down.

1. If I minted a legendary, I’d be so hyped I’d pee my pants, so legendary holders will receive a random legendary NFT airdropped directly to the same wallet address where they hold the genesis BSC NFT.
2. If you minted an epic NFT, you will also receive an epic quality NFT without charge by way of airdrop.
3. Now, you might have gotten this far and you’re starting to think distasteful thoughts, and that’s understandable. You hold a rare or common NFT and you’ve been left out.

Fear not, rare-and-or-common NFT holder — for you have not been left out.

You will not receive an airdrop of a new Ethereum NFT. We are trying to raise funding through this line of NFTs and the gas fees alone would sink us. Instead, your Genesis NFT will grant you something called the Genesis Pass.

The Genesis Pass.

Holding one of the NFTs from our original genesis collection grants the Genesis Pass, there are 500 Genesis passes available in total. The pass grants you a few of different benefits on a rotational basis that follows the games seasonal play schedule (when a new season begins, you get new rewards).

1. You’ll receive an exclusive Genesis wrap at the start of each season, this wrap is redeemable from the Genesis Pass inventory in your player menu in-game. The wrap is exclusive to the Genesis pass, there will be 3 different wraps to get your hands on, with one of the wraps being a 1/5 chance.
2. You’ll get access to the Genesis Yield pool. The Genesis Yield pool accounts for 5% (at least) of total game earnings, by loading your Genesis Pass into the pool you’ll be eligible to earn a monthly share of game revenue paid in Ether.
3. You’ll be whitelisted to mint the new NFTs ahead of the public sale, and I truly hope you’re lucky, go with the old gods and the new and mint one of those Legendary racers.

So to recap, if you hold a genesis NFT, you’ll be whitelisted for early access to the mint, you’ll get a free exclusive NFT every 2 months(ish) and you’ll get access to the Genesis Yield pool. If you have a legendary or epic, you’ll receive an airdropped replacement.

Q: When will Legendary/Epic quality replacements be aidropped?

A: We’ll be preminting them and airdropping them manually, so please bare with us and expect to receive your airdrop within 48 hours of the public mint opening.

Q: When genesis pass?

A: You’ll be able to convert your Binance NFT to an Ethereum Genesis Pass NFT through the portal on game release (likely a day or two earlier), there are no fees other than gas.

Q: What happens to the old NFTs after we claim our Genesis Pass?

A: We’re going to hold them in the original deployer wallet, home if you will, useless in utility, priceless in history. Feel free to hold onto yours, it’s your “I was there way before Microsoft bought them out”.
