ICON Use Case — STIN Progress Report #2
To provide transparency amongst our community on the progress of the STIN project we will regularly publish reports focussing on the development process. If you want to check out the recent progress report, you will find it here.
Development
Although we are currently performing a redesign of the apps in order to establish a better fit to the overall corporate design of the STIN website, we are in the final stage of app development.
NFC interoperability with the contactless chips provided from Infineon is now implemented for both iOS and Android devices. You can see a screenshot of a successful NFC interaction below:
Moreover, the landing page with further information about this project is in the final stages of the development. Of course we will share it with you as soon as it is online.
Integration of Infineon’s SECORATM Blockchain solution
The contactless chips are now already stamped and packed up for the application on the labels.
Other important news
STIN already finished the distillation and is now preparing everything for the bottling and packaging process.
We are also strongly working together on making the application as easy as possible to use and creating guides on how to verify the scarcity of one bottle also with the help of the ICON Blockchain Explorer.
What’s next?
After some last tweaks on the UI of the mobile applications we will focus on the content which is needed for publishing the apps in the App Stores.
The landing page is also nearly finished, but we still need to wait for pictures of the final bottles until we can put the landing page live.
The final step is then to bring everything together by attaching the chips and the labels on the bottles. We really can’t wait to share the final product with you.
