Contracts
We have written a total of 46 solidity contracts from scratch, which equates to 4,602 lines of code in our smart contracts and 67,691 lines of code for tests and deployment scripts. This includes our own test suite and custom EIP-2535 diamond deployment.
Innovation via Diamonds
By implementing EIP-2535: The Diamond Standard by Nick Mudge, we are able to continuously roll out new features and upgrades without negatively impacting our community with migrations. The Diamond Standard allows for nearly unlimited contract sizes and unlimited functionality at one address and provides seamless upgrade functionality, to be able to extend the smart contract system in a consistent, systematic way after it is deployed.

Gas Optimization
We’ve invested a great deal of time prioritizing gas optimization for NFT minting. To mint 100 CronosNode NFTs in the same transaction, the average gas cost comes out to 0.25 CRO per NFT.
For example: minting 10 NFTs from the number one NFT collection on Cronos costs 6.04 CRO in gas. An average gas cost of 0.6 CRO per NFT.
We are 2.3x (140%) more gas efficient than the number one NFT collection on Cronos while being far more complex in its own right.
Deflationary NFTs via Gamification
It’s official! We are capping our node NFT collection at 150,000. That makes us the most extensive NFT collection on the Cronos Chain.
We are implementing NFT node gamification that will allow holders to capture nodes from other participating wallets, burn nodes, or mint Node Navy/CroSwap Consumables (thus making the collection deflationary).
Unique Build. No Forks here
The CronosNode project was built from the ground up to be centred on NFT Nodes. We have been referring to this as ‘NFT’s as a Service’ or NFTaaS. Many of our node features that will be coming out this summer are augmented by various Utility NFT Collections.

Fine, We’ll do it ourselves
We created our own whitelist pre-sale platform as well as our own Launchpad (using an overflow method), where all proceeds benefited the CronosNode project instead of sharing part of the raise with a 3rd Party.
Our team set up our own CRO blockchain test net and limitless faucet so that we weren’t limited internally during testing. This allowed us to expedite the testing process.
We built our own router and DEX ecosystem, the precursor to CroSwap so that we could test swap and liquify in order to overcome the nonexistence of open-source test environments on other Cronos platforms.

Active Rewards Mechanism (ARM)
Our Data Scientists have analyzed the ARM calculation logic and continue to test various scenarios when provided with new information to ensure that ARM continues to provide consistent and smooth payouts to all CronosNode NFT holders.
Snapshots
We integrated our snapshot and claim mechanisms to prevent holders from exceeding gas limits. If your reward claim exceeds gas limits, your request will be broken into more minor transactions. Your Claim Tax will remain unchanged until all aged rewards are collected.
Our snapshot mechanism keeps track of all active minted NFT Nodes, and wallet activity status to feed into the ARM calculation. The snapshot also tracks outstanding liabilities (unclaimed rewards) to ensure that the ARM calculation is leveraging the most accurate information.
Test, test then test again
We committed to testing everything robustly by developing our own testing suite to quickly simulate hundreds of thousands of transactions to thoroughly stress test & gas optimize our contracts.

CroSwap DEX
CroSwap is an exclusive Automated Market Maker (AMM) based Decentralized Exchange (DEX) designed to work seamlessly on the fast-growing Cronos Network. CroSwap will be integrated with CronosNode as well as all the Node Navy EVM compatible expansions. CroSwap transaction fees will inject additional capital into the Universal Sustainable Growth Fund (USGF) leveraged by all Node Navy projects. CroSwap will also provide a bridge solution to allow for greater ease of access to multiple different blockchain networks.
