The Sui Network’s Smart Contract is now incorporated into our payment protocol. This means that DeFi platforms can easily receive payments by providing basic information about their smart contracts through the ‘BoltPay Client SDK’. The process is simple and hassle-free, making it a plug-and-play solution.
By integrating smart contract details with the Boltpay protocol, DeFi platforms can function globally for all Sui mobile wallets that have incorporated the ‘BoltPay Wallet SDK’.

Why use Blockbolt Payment Procol?
Our payment protocol is fully decentralized and composed of two secure and verified segments. There are two separate entities — Merchants and Wallets — that operate independently and are not interconnected in any way. Each has its own decentralized process for retrieving information, making payments, and verification.
The process is straightforward and user-friendly. Any attempts to modify payment details will result in rejection by the merchant portal or application. The payment is verified exclusively on the Sui Blockchain from the merchant’s end.
Once the merchant receives the exact requested amount, the payment protocol process comes full circle. There are no loopholes or ways to bypass this system.
To obtain information, make payments, and complete verification, simply follow these steps. Firstly, navigate to the merchant’s website and scan the QR code provided. Review the payment details, and proceed to make the payment directly from your mobile device. This process is incredibly convenient and user-friendly, even for those who are not tech-savvy.
Blockchain network congestion and order delay
However, there are instances where the payment is debited from the customer’s account, but it does not reflect on the merchant’s website. This results in the order status showing as pending because the merchant website is unable to retrieve payment information from the blockchain due to network congestion.
To address this scenario, we have provided a manual verification option on the merchant’s side, where the customer can enter the digest and proceed with checkout. This process is stress-relieving and ensures a smooth payment experience.
Customization
Our protocol can be customized based on the needs of the business. It only requires the necessary details on the backend, allowing the merchant to make changes on the front end. The frontend protocol generates only a QR code, while the backend runs the payment verification process. This means that the merchant’s website can make design changes as desired.
On the wallet side, the wallet can be designed according to the owner’s requirements. Our protocol reads the information from the QR code and processes it on the backend. This means designing a wallet that is simple and customizable to suit the owner’s needs.
