Blockchain Alliance Europe Report: Recap of the Year 2022
The year 2022 was challenging, but significant steps were made towards the mass adoption of blockchain technology, and the Blockchain Alliance Europe family is growing.
For Blockchain Alliance Europe, these are the three pillars of impact: education focusing on blockchain technology mass adoption, business assistance and promotion between our members and partners.
Although the covid pandemic still influenced the beginning of 2022, Blockchain Alliance Europe representatives spread the word about blockchain technology at more than fifteen events all over Europe. They also organized two BAE events and a workshop.
This time, we put a strong emphasis on the inclusion of women in the ICT sector, especially in the blockchain technology ecosystem. Only 21 % of women are cryptocurrency owners, and only 10% of women-led startups get the funding. It is essential to discuss the steps necessary to include more women in the ecosystem since they are users of blockchain technology-based products, which is why they should also co-create them.
We are proud that Blockchain Alliance Europe representatives have been a significant part of the blockchain technology class in the Faculty of commercial and business sciences in Slovenia for the fourth consecutive year, discussing different topics with aspiring students. Among the noteworthy achievements are the Tourism 4.0 initiative and partnering with Confiva, which will take our digital events to a professional level.
We are also looking forward to a great event that will take place in Planica, Slovenia, on the 30th and 31st of March, 2023! Save the date for the conference that will ignite conversations about web 3, crypto, blockchain technology and fintech! More info about Mastercard 255 to Moon will follow soon!
2023 is here, and we are excited about many new projects, so we invite more companies and other interested parties to join our growing initiative.
Together we can achieve more!
