[BLOG] Blockchain Alliance Europe Shows Support For all the Affected by Coronavirus and Urges all Blockchain Communities to Strictly Adhere to the Authorities’ Instructions
Due to the recent events caused by the coronavirus, it seems the whole world is experiencing uncertainty and a frenzy. As an organization closely connected to other blockchain communities across Europe, we can already say that the situation will surely leave a significant mark in our everyday lives and business.
In these difficult times, we want to openly show our support to all the communities that have felt the biggest impact of this situation. And, even though we cannot expect things to calm down overnight, we believe it is best to remain calm, focused and optimistic, and encourage one another. For now, the most each of us can do is to behave responsibly and thus, adhere to the instructions issued by the government and health institutions.
Therefore, we too strongly support and abide by the decision to limit public events and gatherings. As you can also see on our website, most of the events we have been planning to attend, are now postponed and rescheduled to a later time. This also goes for the events organized by the Blockchain Alliance Europe.
Namely, even before the avalanche of events that had stopped the normality of life for our Italian neighbours, the Blockchain Alliance Europe and Business Intelligence Center have started to build connections with the representatives of the blockchain community there. Good mutual cooperation gave birth to the idea of an Italian delegation visiting Slovenia, which should be carried out at the end of the March. However, we too will postpone the first interregional meet-up to a later period, when matters settle down.
Because the first assessments already state that the economic damage will be great, we invite all entrepreneurs, organizations and those interested in blockchain technology to remain connected, open and share ideas among each other. In times of crisis, it is precisely a collaborative cooperation and strategic planning that will have a decisive influence on how the consequences will be felt around us. We also invite you all to contact us with suggestions on how to best continue the operations.
Above all, keep safe and know, that this too shall pass.
