We’re thrilled to announce that the beloved Web3 combat sensation, formerly known as Blockchain Brawlers, has undergone an exciting transformation and will now be referred to as simply “Brawlers”
But why this change? Why now? We’ve gained some valuable insights that have led us to this decision. First and foremost, it’s evident that we’ve crafted an exceptional game that resonates with players across the board. Our commitment to expanding our player base is unwavering, and we’re keen on breaking down barriers that may have deterred more conventional gamers. We recognize that notions of blockchain, NFTs, and Web3 can be intimidating for some, and we’re dedicated to showcasing the true essence of our game before judgments are passed.
By rebranding our game as “Brawlers,” we’re redirecting the spotlight from any preconceived notions that may have stemmed from the previous title. This shift allows us to present our game in its purest form, devoid of any potentially misleading associations.
If you’ve been keeping up with our recent strides over the past six months, this evolution shouldn’t come as a surprise. We’ve meticulously planned and executed a strategy to make our game more inclusive and accessible to a wider audience. We firmly believe that Brawlers holds universal appeal, and our primary goal is to foster growth while maintaining approachability.
In line with this mission, we’ve taken substantial actions, including the development of a PC and Mac client to offer an enhanced gaming experience, departing from the limitations of WebGL. We’ve enabled game access for all, irrespective of Cloud Wallet ownership. Within the Cloud Wallet interface, we’ve introduced a seamless account creation process through up to ten Single Sign-On options, aligning with the familiar choices encountered by gamers daily. Setting up a Cloud Wallet account for Brawlers is now entirely fee-free, catering to those eager to jump into the game.

In light of our heightened visibility ambitions, the rebranding of Brawlers is a logical step. In the near future, an update to our client will substantially reduce the “Blockchain” references across various touchpoints. While our website will also undergo a transformation, it might trail behind the client update to a certain extent.
