We’re incredibly excited to welcome Ryan Sproule, Sterling Campbell, and Adam Patel to the Blockchain Capital investment team.

Ryan is joining as a Research Engineer, where he will work closely with portfolio companies’ development teams and spearhead technical diligence efforts. Additionally, Ryan spends time researching and building open-source software and protocols. Prior to joining Blockchain Capital, Ryan worked as a software engineer at Amazon Web Services where he worked on a distributed execution engine for a no-code automation service. Ryan has been building in the blockchain space as a hobby for years — where he built several MEV related bots, on-chain games, and a variety of tools for investment insight.

Sterling is joining the investment team and will be particularly focused on the intersection of consumer, crypto and NFTs (among other areas). Sterling joins us from Grishin Robotics, a consumer-focused early stage venture firm. Aside from venture, Sterling is also a founder himself having built Minotaur and conducted several wildly successful NFT launches from big-name creators. In addition to being a founder and venture investor, Sterling has an extensive background in media and entertainment — Sterling used to DJ for Lil Jon and T-Pain! ___________________________________________________________________

Adam is joining the investment team and will be supporting our research and investment activities across all of web3 and with a focus on DAOs and DeFi. Prior to joining BCAP, Adam was investing and working with startups at DeFi Alliance, an early advocate and contributor for OlympusDAO, and helped ideate the early days of Glass Protocol. Adam has demonstrated an innate ability to build communities and products across the web3 ecosystem at large. Adam is a true crypto native — as a young teenager, he and his father built bitcoin miners together and Adam self-professes that he was partially “raised by crypto Twitter.”

We’re thrilled to welcome Ryan, Sterling, and Adam to the investment team at Blockchain Capital. If you are building something in crypto, reach out — you can find them here: Ryan | Sterling | Adam
