Bobby Lee looks bullish about Bitcoin
Arguably one of the most important Crypto figures from China, Bobby Lee is best known as the CEO and co-founder of BTCC and a Board Member of the Bitcoin Foundation. BTCC was founded in 2011 and is the first and largest Bitcoin trading platform in China. The Bitcoin Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2012 with the goal of promoting the adoption of Bitcoin around the world.
Before getting involved in cryptocurrency, Mr. Lee graduated from Stanford University with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science and worked in high-level positions at companies such as Walmart eCommerce, BesTV (largest IPTV operator in China), and Yahoo.
Mr. Lee has a very bullish view on the future of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. He expects Bitcoin to hit a price of $100,000 in 2018. He has been featured on CNBC speaking about how he believes China will eventually open up to Cryptocurrency. He has also delivered speeches at many events including: Blockchain Economic Forum 2018, Consensus 2017, and Techcrunch Disrupt SF 2015.
