Litecoin founder Charlie Lee says he’s sold all his Litecoin.

Litecoin has risen to all-time high values in recent weeks. In the past month, Litecoin (LTC) price has seen an almost 300 percent increase, up from $71.41 on Nov. 20. Just before this article’s going live, the trading price of one LTC is around 320 USD.

While to everybody’s surprise, Litecoin (LTC) founder Charlie Lee announced on Reddit and Twitter today that he had sold and donated all his Litecoins.

And soon later, he tweeted that he was glad to see the market is not overreacting to his news.

Back to his “creating Litecoin” presentation in Google, he explained the reason why he created Litecoin was that better to learn Bitcoin code and created an altcoin better than the rest.

Charlie Lee graduated from MIT with a Bachelors and Masters in computer science. After working at top tech companies including Microsoft, Guidewire, and Google, he discovered Bitcoin in April of 2011 from an article. Then, he created Litecoin in October of 2011, left Google in July 2013 to join Coinbase as the 3rd staff engineer, leading the Coinbase exchange and payments engineering teams. In June of 2017, He left Coinbase to focus on Litecoin.
