Hello Cutieners! Another week — another update, ain’t that exciting? 26th of July we had our second podcast where we touched a lot of fun topics also talked about new features that are coming in the near future. Podcast was a blast and will definitely get better over time — the production value is going to increase. This update introduces some rework in inventory system and also adds possibility to see the items listed for sale. More details as always — down bellow. Patch notes for 1.30 update. Happy reading folks!
Improved item inventory!
It was expected that after improving the item market — we are going to touch the players inventory, that was a mess previously (if a player had hundreds of items). Now the items are grouped which makes it a lot easier to find the necessary item you want to equip or use. This is just an “alpha” design. Functionality is there, but the design will change in the future.
Added functionality to show items being sold
Item market got improved with the previous update, but we saw that extra functionality is needed for players to able to see their active listing on the item market. This now enables the player to easily track their items being sold, as it shows the price its set and the time that’s left for this auction.
This is another small step into improving the overall market and auction experience in the game.
Now its possible to send currency via the cuties wallet
As promised Blockchain Cuties built in wallet is getting improved step by step. This time we added ability to send currency from the wallet to another address. Our aim here is to create competitive, secure blockchain wallet solution that can be used on any device and on any browser. We are definitely aiming to have all the functionality which, for example, MetaMask offers to their users.
Paw shop added to the game
For some time now pawcoins were introduced together with achievements, but there was no place to spend these well earned paw coins. In this update paw shop is brought to our players with several unique items for players to check out. “Paw Shop” can be found under “Marketplace” tab.
In future there are going to be several places in the game where players will have the possibility to farm paw coins. It’s an in-game off-chain currency.
Over time the shop item listing is going to be changed and some of the items will be added to future adventures for players to discover.
New items added along with paw shop
With every update we try to bring new content out to our players. Here come few great new items that can be bought in paw shop. Go try them out!
More custom cuties released and will join their “masters”
Players have been very active on bidding for their custom cuties! Here comes another batch of custom cuties that have joined the game. It’s Devil Dragon, Red Ninja, Lion Fox and Werewolf Cat. Custom cuties is an opportunity for any player to make their “dream” cutie come to life and be a real in-game asset!
Added Ethor to presale!
There’s only one Kitsune left in-game! As players were aware there are going to be no more than 10 Kitsunes in the game. Now we add next cutie to the pool of unique cuties — Ethor. A cutie — superhero! It comes together with a powerful item set, also its noble and “empowered” meaning it will be a lot stronger in fights against raid-bosses. It’s first of a kind unique cutie because it comes with a pre-equipped item set, this item set can be removed with clothe hanger and equipped on any other cutie.
Be aware! There’s limited amount of Ethors available together with their sets. It translates to — 10 Ethors with 10 sets in total. Check out these items!
Ethor is going to start at 1.5 ETH and with every next Ethor bought the price will raise by 10%. It’s first of its kind unique cutie which is sold in combination with unique limited edition items that are not issued anywhere else.
Re-touching of leader-boards
Leader-boards have been redesigned and made more eye-friendly. This is not the final version and some changes can occur along the way with new updates. Either way we continue our promise to improve upon old features as well!
Cooperation with BitGuild
BitGuild is a decentralized gaming platform built on the blockchain.
Redefining the relationship between players and developers by facilitating full and true ownership of in-game assets, cheap and safe item trading, cross-game compatibility of items and currency.
Blockchain Cuties team figured it’s important to join this growing movement and make it available for our players to use. Overall implementation of BitGuild “PLAT” is already here and players can choose to allow selling their pets for “PLAT” tokens or even buy pets from creator with “PLAT” tokens.
The intention is here to expand our horizons into ASIAN markets and possibly attract more new players to our game. BitGuild gathered over 5000 ICO supporters and the project itself has good idea behind it. There are a few projects already that have implemented “PLAT” payment into their games so we figured that we should join the train as well — as early adopters.
Other bug fixes and improvements
