Chests And Loot Boxes Update
Following our previous post on chests and loot boxes, we are delighted to bring you an update on the matter.
The age of bad luck is officially over!
The system behind the loot boxes was changed and more valuable items are much more likely to end up in your hands.
The current system works like so:
Chest’s drop stats that are displayed on the chest:
* Butterfly Knife — 45% drop chance
* Ninja Knife — 25% drop chance
* Thug Life Weapon — 5% drop chance
* Viking Weapon — 2% drop chance
When the chest is opened, — server rolls for all items in the drop list and picks out the rarest item. True means the item is successfully rolled. Thus if:
- Butterfly Knife — True
- Ninja Knife — False
- Thug Life Weapon — True
- Viking Weapon — False
The player is going to receive the Thug Life Weapon — because it’s the rarest weapon.
And if:
- Butterfly Knife — False
- Ninja Knife — False
- Thug Life Weapon — True
- Viking Weapon — True
Viking Weapon will be received as it’s the rarest weapon.
Therefore the statistics written on the chests and boxes are currently much more accurate.
Our community has already tested out the mechanic and people seem to be happy with the update.
