Do We Care About Your Opinion?

The reaction to our latest post on Medium was a bit surprising. It was probably the first time not everyone was excited about a new custom Cutie joining the game.

Some of the community members seem to have developed a unique Cutie allergy. They can’t stand to see us launching new Cuties into the market.

It might sound mean, but there’s a fair point behind it. Scarcity defines a part of a Cutie’s value. Another part of the value depends on ways you can use a particular Cutie. And the third component is the artistic and collectible value of it.

As our players want to see their assets grow in value, it is perfectly fair for them to demand scarcity and more use cases.

We also want your assets to grow in value, and we recognize that we need to work on these areas of the asset value.

We are a community-driven development game. All your comments are read and forwarded to the competent team members.

But why don’t we respond to every comment?

Because most of the time the issue that we are trying to solve is still in discussion or development. The front-facing team members can’t give you much detail on what’s happening in the development department. Mainly because things change very quickly and the solution selected yesterday might be discarded tomorrow. Also, some questions and issues require us to have several team meetings to discuss and resolve.

And some issues need quite a long time to be finalised and even decided upon. We too wish we had all the answers right away and development was 8000 times faster.

Why don’t we discuss the development process extensively on Medium?

Our first objective is not to mislead or cause worries for you guys. We try to report on things that are as close to set in stone as possible. And there’s a huge way for the team to go before we get a glimpse of the reality of the future update.

Another important thing is that progress snapshots for the development are often lines and lines of code or have a form of huge excel tables that no one wants to see.

Also there are a lot of very technical structural changes being made that are invisible for players. So it’s a challenge to describe them and you probably wouldn't be interested in the infrastructural aspects and improvements anyway.

How to see what’s happening in terms of development?

The overall development plan is visible on our public roadmap.

You can refer to it at any moment to see what we plan to implement in the near future.

The general direction of the development at the time is:

Future updates

As these updates are finalized and we can share details with confidence, all the information will be posted here on Medium and our other social media.

So please don’t worry that we mostly tend to share cute and artsy things. A huge amount of work is being done to improve gameplay and support your asset value in the long term.

We know you want it yesterday. We’re working on it.

Thank you for all of your ideas and contributions. You will see a lot of them come to life.
