The first Polkadot — Taipei meetup and Substrate workshop in Taipei

The first Polkadot — Taipei meetup and Substrate workshop in Taipei has been completed successfully.

Founder of BDE, Jason Chen is very excited to be a strong supporting party of the Polkadot meetup in Taipei and held a community gathering after the event. It is great to learn and discuss the need of parachain and the idea of connecting the whole ecosystem.

We have 76 members in Polkadot — Taipei meetup group within one month.

There were 44 RSVPs and up to appr. 25 members came, pretty much for blockchain workshop in Taipei considering that most people still know cryptocurrency only.

It was an informative evening with Jason step by step to install and run first substrate node. With the cloud IDE environment and preinstalled substrate docker image. Now Taipei developers know how to work with substrate, even some members are the first time to learn blockchain tech.
