Blockchain Game Alliance Welcomes Piers Kicks of BITKRAFT and Delphi Digital as Board Member
Blockchain Game Alliance (BGA), an organization that advocates for
the use of blockchain within the game industry, welcomes Piers Kicks, Head of Crypto at BITKRAFT and Venture Partner at Delphi Digital as their newest board member. BGA is optimistic that more companies and organizations will be educated about the use of blockchaini in gaming to engage with the projects they are building.

With the growth of blockchain game adoption, Piers’ vision and demonstrated ability in venture capital, crypto and games can help our members, and provide more opportunities in this space. The use case of non-fungible token (NFT) in gaming has created player ownership and virtual economies never before seen in the world of gaming. Growth in user adoption has been seen with blockchain games such as Axie Infinity, which surpassed Ethereum’s daily protocol revenue at the height of its popularity in mid July. As the industry is still in its early stages, education, collaboration and funding are needed if these new applications are to realise their full potential.

Current BGA board members such as Aleksander Larsen of Sky Mavis, Shaban Shaame of EverdreamSoft, Nicolas Pouard of Ubisoft, Ludovic Courcelas of ConsenSys, Gabby Dizon of Yield Guild Games, Nicolas Gilot of Ultra, and Marc Coupal of Enjin, have been creating an open and inclusive platform for discussion, collaboration, and engagement in the blockchain gaming industry.
