The BGA hits GDC San Francisco to raise awaraness of Blockchain Gaming
We are excited as we prepare for one of the most prominent gaming conferences. The BGA is excited to be at GDC with an 18m2 booth showcasing several of our members across infrastructure and live game demos. We can’t wait to welcome you to our activities there!
Join the BGA and Venly at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco from 20 to 24 March where we will have a hive of activity at our booth. You can find us nestled between Unity and Epic Games, at booth S341, with several members showcasing their projects over the course of the event, including infrastructure projects that will tackle a range of topics to create discussion and raise awareness on the respective topics, and a game project showcasing their latest title. During GDC, BGA will host high-value side events for our members to further connect and discuss on-trend topics related to blockchain gaming.

A new frontier of blockchain games: Fun first, followed by ownership and autonomy: Play-to-earn models lost their edge in 2022, with the focus shifting from ‘play-to-earn’ to ‘play-and-earn.’ Game developers are now prioritizing building games that are, first and foremost, fun. Breakfast will include a panel discussion to look at the strengths and areas of potential within blockchain gaming.
