Blockchain Studio Courses
Everyone starts somewhere, and this journey is the very definition of a company’s basis, values and spirit. So, today I will take the opportunity to talk about a course that was attended and then lectured by the founder of Blockchain Studio and from this the company was developed, thought and created.
David, now CEO of QR Capital, was doing a master in UFRJ and started to develop a great interest in the blockchain technology. When he was looking for people with the knowledge to help him to understand, he found out that no one on his department possessed experience or interest on the subject.
He then met a professor that is a pioneer in the blockchain technology in Brazil, talking about it since the beginning. This professor, Luis Felipe Carvalho, told him about a course where the basic and advanced knowledge about blockchain was ministered. When he met the teachers there and they found out he had experience and knowledge about smart contracts and Ethereum they asked him to be a teacher too!
Several important names in the blockchain market met in this course, so it was a great networking opportunity. One of these contacts was with Felipe Van de Sande, now CSO of Trampol.in, who was a teacher in the course and was the one that asked David to be one too. From the knowledge in the course and the contacts, David started a blockchain research initiative inside Investtools. It grew so much and had so many other possibilities that it led to the creation of Blockchain Studio.
The course was a huge success and had eleven editions spreading knowledge, expertise, and networking. These are the best outcomes I could think of, to know something that helped to spread such an important knowledge was also part of the beginning of the company I am CEO of today.
