Lira Banking is now Live for Turkish Crypto Traders 🇹🇷

Ever since we launched the Blockchain.com Exchange, we’ve been blown away by the enthusiasm and support from the Turkish crypto community. Almost immediately, Turkey surpassed much larger countries as one of the most active geographies on the Exchange, and Turkish traders haven’t taken their feet off the gas since.

Today, we’re excited to make the trading experience even better for Turkish traders by launching full support and native banking integration for Turkish Lira (TRY) so users can directly deposit or withdraw from their bank account to the Exchange in a matter of hours. We’ll also be supporting trading of TRY for Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) and Tether (USDT) so traders like you have access to the true and fair crypto market.

Now, traders can buy crypto in an affordable way in as little as five minutes, without a third-party payment processor or any outrageous premiums, withdraw fees, or pricey conversion rates that many of the existing exchanges charge today.

In celebration of the launch, we’re reducing trading fees for the first traders to make a deposit in TRY:

• The first 1,000 to deposit will get Tier 3 fees for a year (.08% maker / .18% taker)
• The next 1,000 will get Tier 2 fees for a year (.10% maker / .20% taker)

To get started buying and trading crypto with TRY:

1. Sign-up for an account here, and follow the prompts to get “Gold Verified” (all you need is a few details, government I.D., and photo — our automated system does the rest!)
2. Click the “Deposit Now” tab in the top right corner, select Lira (TRY), and follow the prompts to fill in your bank details and select your deposit amount to begin your bank transfer.
3. As soon as your money hits your account, you’re ready to buy crypto. You can place your buy order on the right-hand side. Sit back and watch the fastest exchange execute your crypto in microseconds.
