Hello people!
The growth of DeFi took the crypto world by storm! ⚡
Whilst the rest of the planet had seized pandemic dread, Blockchain acquired the DeFi bug!
And seeing such tremendous craze among people for defi, we decided that why not teach our dear people about defi fundamentals! 🤔
With that, we started our 3rd cohort of our #100DaysofCode in March, in collaboration with Zilliqa, with the main focus on DeFi. You already know that right?! 💃🕺

The participants started by learning about the blockchain basics which was followed by an introduction to Scilla language and learning how to write smart contracts. They all tweeted their progress daily & as a result encouraged their fellow mates to also get done with the day’s task. There were weekly activities/tasks, where we asked them to explain some given topics in the form of video, presentation etc. We also have a dedicated Whatsapp group along with zoom calls twice a week, where we solve their queries and discuss the recent updates in the space. ‘LEARN and EARN’ has been our motto since the beginning and thus we reward our participants with ZIL tokens for doing good things! Till now USD 10000~ 7.5 lacs (approx) INR worth of ZIL tokens have already been disbursed! 🔥🔥
They were later divided into groups to build project ideas and put their learning to the test. Each group came up with their ideas and built a small MVP which will be showcased on the Demo Day!! 🛠️⚙️

Richard joined DFJ Dragon Fund in 2011. He has over 18 years of experience in business development, technical marketing and sales management in the high technology space.
★ Pranav Sharma: Founding Partner, Woodstock Fund
Pranav is the Founding Partner at Woodstock fund, which helps SMEs with debt fundraising. He’s an expert in identifying, understanding, and contributing to structuring and executing the business side of startups.
★ Akshay Aggarwal: Chief & Founder, Blocumen Studios & Blockchained India
A firm believer that Indian developers and founders are rightly placed to enable this transition. He started his company with the vision of enabling mass adoption of Web 3.0 in India. A fellow from Tim Draper’s Draper University and a current Alumni Ambassador, he’s scouting promising startups from India and helping them realize their goals.
