BEN and the EEA Announce the Blockchain Talent Survey and Report
The Blockchain Education Network (BEN) is excited to partner with the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance to release the Blockchain Talent Survey and Report. The focus of this talent survey is to identify the specific skills the industry participants are looking for when hiring blockchain professionals, and to create a subsequent report detailing the findings.

There has been a disconnect in the Blockchain space for years between the roles that are open and the talent available to fill it. This survey/report could really bring to light how much instruction is needed from Universities and organizations. BEN, EEA, and our great partners hope to shed that light and build this talent.”
The EEA will help with the survey distribution and act as a key connector to the industry leaders and organizations participating in the talent survey. With one of the tasks guiding the EEA’s operations being to understand enterprise talent requirements, this survey will help to not only accomplish this, but also connect talent to organizations in an efficient and impactful talent pipeline.
“This survey will provide the EEA with valuable insight into the talent needs of our ecosystem, as well as a snapshot of how organizations are using, and plan to use, blockchain, and specifically Ethereum, to meet their business needs,” says EEA Executive Director Dan Burnett.
BEN will help ensure alignment between ongoing educational initiatives and the needs of companies looking for talent, as well as to publish the final talent survey report. With a scaled global network of students and universities, this survey will help educators and students to better understand the enterprise blockchain landscape and how to best prepare for their careers in the space.
The survey will open on May 1st and run until May 31st. Surveys will be distributed through partner networks including EEA, Global Blockchain Business Council and Hyperledger Foundation.
