Episode 56: The Prognosis on ProgPow, with Kristy Minehan
On this episode of BlockChannel, McKie, Dee and Dr. Petty are on a mission to get their heads wrapped around what ProgPow is attempting to accomplish as Kristy Minehan assists us in understanding her teams motivations and goals to retrofit Ethereum’s hashing algorithm to deter the usage of ASICs, in an attempt to make mining more egalitarian and less reliant on large scale purpose-built hardware.
