Everything you need to know before Marble Mania begins 🌀

Tomorrow, Tuesday Oct. 15, starts two days of awesome marbling fun! For the first time, Blockcities.co will be open for Marbling on www.marble.cards.

If you don’t know, MarbleCards is the hit internet-collecting game where users can mint a collectible trading card of any webpage from a curated list of websites. Users navigate to a page they’d like to marble, paste a link on Marble.cards, and mint a unique trading card of that page.

Each card is given a beautiful, generative, marble pattern to complement the content from the webpage. Now, for the first time, anyone will be able to marble a card from BlockCities, including our iconic Genesis building, and any of the 2045 buildings featured on the site.

Along with the chance to marble rare buildings and score their cards, MarbleCards and BlockCities will be hosting fun competitions throughout the day with rare MarbleCard prizes!

Day 1 Competition:

• First card of the Marble.Cards Building is an Edition.
• Highest level Gold BlockCities card wins Origin card “Tokyo — Wikipedia” https://marble.cards/card/240
• Highest level BlockCities card wins a Rare Candy

Day 2 — Grand Prize Competition

One day two, we bringing even more marble fun! We’re revamping the Mystery Machine on BlockCities to the Marble Machine! All buildings from the Machine on Wednesday only will feature MarbleCards’ iconic marble patterns as rooftop signs, billboards, and window treatments 😍

The first person to marble a card of each unique pattern found in the Mystery Machine, wins the grand prize — a Founders collection building (Token ID #114) & 250 MarbleCoin!

Day 2 Competition:

• BlockCities has hidden 15 unique Marble patterns in the Mystery Machine
• To participate, build a building on the Mystery Machine (or wait for someone else to build)
• Once built, go to the building’s profile page on BlockCities.co.
• (Find the page by clicking on the building on My Buildings)
• Head over to MarbleCards and be the first person to marble a card of the building containing the unique pattern.
• There are 15 unique patterns featured on buildings hidden in the Mystery Machine.
• The first person to find and mint a MarbleCard of all 15 buildings, wins the grand prize!
