Announcing our partnership with Origin Protocol
BlockFood’s objective is to decentralize the food ordering market and give control back to the people. We are pleased and proud to announce that, in order to achieve our goals faster and have a bigger impact, BlockFood will be integrating the Origin Protocol allowing us to create a fair and efficient blockchain-powered marketplace.
Origin Protocol enables both regular marketplaces and fractional-use or sharing economy marketplaces (like short-term rentals or ride sharing) to function in a completely distributed way using Ethereum and the IPFS protocol. We are excited to be building on the Origin platform and collaborating with the talented Origin developer community. Origin is a top company — they are backed by Pantera Capital, working with ConsenSys. The founders have a long track record of success in Silicon Valley.
By making the most of the shared network effects incurred by partnering with Origin and their development team, BlockFood will get to market faster and make user acquisition and adoption much easier.
